Trust Surveyors is an independent surveying practice in the Liverpool City Region, founded by Sean Pearson. The name isn’t decoration; trust is the entire proposition.
Hello, I’m Sean.
I set up Trust Surveyors to give buyers and property owners honest, independent advice they can genuinely rely on.
I studied Building Surveying BSc at Liverpool John Moores University and have spent over a decade in the industry since, working my way from trainee, to senior surveyor, to partner at a North West practice. I’m an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a RICS Registered Valuer.
I started this company around one simple idea: straight answers, not a sales pitch. Buying a home is stressful enough without a report you can’t understand from someone you can’t get hold of. Today the whole team works that way, so every client gets personal, tailored advice rather than a one-size-fits-all report.
Away from surveys, I volunteer as a RICS Inspire Ambassador, visiting schools across the region to encourage young people into surveying careers. It’s a good industry and it deserves good people coming into it.

Who founded Trust Surveyors?
Sean Pearson founded Trust Surveyors in 2023 after more than a decade in practice, from trainee to senior surveyor to partner at a North West firm. He studied Building Surveying (BSc) at Liverpool John Moores University.
Are you RICS registered?
Yes. Sean is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a RICS Registered Valuer.
Are you independent?
Yes. We’re not tied to any estate agent, developer or lender. Nobody pays us to say a property is fine.
Where are you based?
Our office is on the 14th floor of The Plaza, 100 Old Hall Street, Liverpool L3 9QJ. We survey across Liverpool, Merseyside and the wider North West.
